About
Membase is made by Unibase
Membase is a long-term memory for you and your AI. Knowledge, preferences and decisions from your conversations, files and connected apps go into one memory you and your AI can build on, and you choose what is kept and who reaches it. It is published by Unibase.
What the product is
Most AI tools keep a memory of their own, and none of them share it. You explain the same project to a new chat, a coding agent and an assistant in turn, and each one forgets separately. Membase keeps that knowledge in one place they can all read, so it accumulates instead of being retyped.
What it holds is yours to look at. Every fact can be read, corrected, deleted and exported — which is the part that separates it from a memory feature inside someone else's product, where there is nothing to open.
Where it runs
Chrome extension
Carries the same memory into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek and Kimi.

Unibase builds open infrastructure for AI agents. Membase is the memory layer. The others are separate protocols, each usable on its own:
- AIP
- Agent Internet Protocol — identity and interoperability between agents.
- Unibase Pay
- Payments and settlement between agents over HTTP.
- Unibase DA
- Verifiable decentralized storage.
